The membership is drawn mainly from the employees of the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC). The supreme policy formulation organ of the society is the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM is attended by all the registered and paid up members of the society to air their views on the management of their society.
Since its inception, the Sacco membership has grown from 70 in 1978 to 360 in 2008. The growth of the Society has also been experienced in the annual turnover. The minimum share contribution has grown from Kshs.20 to Kshs. 2,000 while the share capital, rose from K.shs.52,590 in 1978 to over 104 million in 2008.
The growth can be attributed to good leadership experienced over the years.
